2008-12-02 [Linderel]: That was fast :D
2008-12-02 [FamousPanda]: =D What do you think?
2008-12-02 [Linderel]: Pretty nice. :)
Oh, line 6. 'come' should be 'comes'
2008-12-02 [FamousPanda]: thank you
2008-12-08 [FamousPanda]: thats really really sad =[
2008-12-08 [Alexi Ice]: Ummmmm...Thank you? Good sad or bad sad?
2008-12-08 [Linderel]: 'the snowy mourn of Christmas day' <- is this intentional? I'm asking because to mourn means to grieve, if you want to say 'morning' it's still just 'morn'... Though I for one would appreciate the play with words, as they are pronounced exactly the same.
2008-12-08 [Alexi Ice]: It can be taken either way. The snow is as silver as her tears, her mourning, but she is at the grave in the morning. It is all up to reader perception, even though they are spelled differntly. I was comparing the snow to her silver tear, but hey, who's counting, eh? lol.
It makes more scense this way, though. Thanks for pointing that out. ^^
2008-12-08 [Linderel]: Ah, that's a shame, I'd have liked it. Oh well. :P
2008-12-08 [Alexi Ice]: Lol. It's ok, you can still take it either way
2008-12-17 [Morningstar Rising]: hope my poem meets with the theme, if not please let me know. Merry Christmas all.
2008-12-18 [Morningstar Rising]: *hugs [Heather Thomason]* so sorry for your lost.
2008-12-19 [Heather Thomason]: im getting use to it slowly
2008-12-19 [Heather Thomason]: so how was my poem?
2008-12-19 [FamousPanda]: that is a really cute poem [Artsieladie] ^-^
2008-12-20 [Morningstar Rising]: your poem was very touching, [Heather Thomason]
2008-12-20 [Artsieladie]: Thank you, [FamousPanda]. It's just a quickie though. I like yours, too. It's light and cheerful, Christmasy! :D
I don't think I've read one of your poems, [Grandamelf], that I haven't enjoyed. Your poetry always flows so beautifully. :D
[Alexi Ice], good poem. It is just the way I feel without my Mom, especially at Christmas. :,
[Tynuka-Rhytishy], I enjoyed your poem. It made me chuckle and remember the days when I was a kid and I wanted to wait for and get a peek at Santa. :D
[Thunder Cid], nice and so true. I only wish that the Christmas Spirit could be celebrated EVERY day of the year. :,)
[Heather Thomason], your poem brings out your feelings of loss. It's very hard to enjoy Christmas when you are dealing with loss and not only loss, but the absense of a loved one or ones, temporary or permanent. My heart goes out to you. *hug*
[Morningstar Rising], my dear Shay, my friend, I miss you around ET. When you are here, I always seem to miss when you are able to pop in. Your poems so often make me stop and think to try and be grateful for that I do have and to be sure I remember the ones that aren't so fortunate; deep and meaningful. ;)
2008-12-20 [Alexi Ice]: Thank you.
2008-12-20 [Artsieladie]: Thank you! *hugs*
2008-12-20 [Alexi Ice]: ^^ *hug*
2008-12-20 [FamousPanda]: [Artsieladie] I present you with the nicest person on Elftown award. ^-^
2008-12-20 [pegasus1000]: I don't usually write for Christmas, there is so much to say. My favorite day is Thanksgiving.
2008-12-20 [Artsieladie]: [FamousPanda], that's so sweet and means so much to me! It is so nice to hear. But really, there are many, many wonderful folks here on Elftown! *hugs* :D
I agree, [pegasus1000]. There is a lot to say and to do. Thanksgiving is more relaxed, less demanding, less expected, but still is a wonderful gathering of family and friends. Nice poems. :)
2008-12-20 [pegasus1000]: Thank you. -I started to explain my family and why I like Thanksgiving better, but it is a long explanation.
2008-12-20 [FamousPanda]: It was the truth.. *hugs* nice poems everyone.
2008-12-20 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: =] Thank you [Artsieladie] You're very sweet.
-joins the group hug-
2008-12-21 [Artsieladie]: You're welcome, [Tynuka-Rhytishy]. :) Aw, thank you, too! :D hehe A Christmasy group hug! *joins in* ;)
2008-12-22 [Heather Thomason]: so when do we find out who the winners are?
2008-12-22 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Well, the deadline is the 1st of January. Then I'm sure there's going to be some sort of poll. Guessing, in the middle of January.
2008-12-22 [Linderel]: I think you're confusing this page with the photography one :P
[Heather Thomason], the crew will hopefully have picked the winners by Christmas Day.
2008-12-22 [Tynuka-Rhytishy]: Oh gawsh. My bad. xD <3
2008-12-22 [Artsieladie]: It happens. ;) When I was closing the Art and Poetry sections, I was soooooo tired, I ended up closing the Photo Section, too, by mistake. So I had to go back and undo it. I still need sleep though, 'cause I only got about 3 hours and after being up all last night. *ish a Christmas zombie!*
2008-12-23 [Jitter]: Blast! I forgot to write something for this year :/
2008-12-28 [Grandamelf]: Poor little zombie! You need a vacation!
2008-12-28 [Artsieladie]: Maybe. But... I have no idea what I would do or where to go for a vacation. ;P
